In an effort to make our wedding as enjoyable as possible for everyone–and because we just like to talk about music–we’re asking you for a little help answering an important question:
What music should be played at any good wedding?
We’ve been thinking about this for months, and have come up with a playlist as long as our arms (all four of them put together), but we know our friends have good taste, and we want to make sure that eveyone ends up on the dancefloor at some point. So here’s your chance to get involved.
What do you want to hear? Specific songs would be appreciated, but bands you like would be helpful too. If everyone who reads this contributes something (even people who can’t make it to the wedding…think of it as a way to be there even in your absence!) then we’re sure to have the most eclectic set of wedding music ever.

i’d like it if there is a heavy load of bass. dubstep will be best, classic dub is another option .
btw, lemme know if you want to have the best bartender around (+ his crew), they’re so nice and charming… I bet all ladies will get high on alcohol for less than half hour

“Embraceable You” is the most romantic song I know. We danced to it at our wedding and I get choked up just thinking about it (could also be the pregnancy hormones). And now we sing it to our son as a lullaby. Best wishes as your date approaches!
I will dance like a fool to anything from the 80’s. Anything. Also, even though it might be cliche in certain circles, I think “This is the First Day of my Life” by Bright Eyes is the sweetest love song.

Ellie: Same with me!!! Love the 80’s. I never listened to 80’s music in the 80’s…being too young and living in a communist Bulgaria…So, a lot of it is actually NEW to me now! lol We are going to have a blast! We should think about giving people a copy of our “Wedding Dance Mix” to take away with them too…
