We thought we could use this page to help people get to know each other a little bit before arriving in Bulgaria. We’re listing some of the guests who’ve already confirmed they will be joining us in August:
Ashley Vaught:
A native of the “southeast Ohio area,” Ashley is a revolutionary freedom fighter operating in the guise of a graduate student in philosophy. It was in this capacity that he met Kyle when they attended Villanova together. Play your cards right at the wedding reception, and you just might convince Ashley to perform an Underwood or two. Cristi Cruz:
Cristi went to Sewanee with Petya where they bonded over their love for popcorn and calzones. After working as an admissions officer at Sewanee for a couple of years, Cristi now works for Eckerd College in Florida and is in charge of their international recruitment.
Brooke Swafford:
Petya’s friend and house-mate from college. Brooke is fluent in Russian and has spent several years in Russia and teaching English in Siberia (!!!). Brooke is currently a graduate student in Anthropology at Indiana University. When you meet her, be sure to ask her to tell you her shamanism stories!!!

Dave and I cannot wait to join you for this wonderful event. We will be joined by Jim and Karen Barker, also from San Diego, and their daughter Carissa. Carissa works for the State Department in Sofia. Thank you so much for inviting them to join us.
